This was the world premier of Migdalia Cruz's dramatic play about a Puerto Rican-American family.  As Lulu prepares for her wedding, she reflects on her violent and abusive childhood and the events that have drawn her and her brother, Papo, apart.

I created a costume palette using exclusively shades of white, blue, and red. These colors are what make up the Puerto Rican and American flags, and represent forgiveness (white), sadness (blue), and anger (red). Each character wore varying amounts of each color to illustrate their place in the narrative.
